Treasure: Magical cosmic chimes

The copper bell making craft goes back at least a thousand years. The bells were originally used by the pastoralists to keep a track of their livestock.
These hand made treasures are passed from generation to generation and today families in two villages of Kutch practise this craft.

These treasure keepers forage for iron from scrap materials and then recycle them to create these beautiful copper bells by hand. The sound of these copper bells gets more melodious as the bells age.

This design is inspired by our very own goofball Warpy.
His cheerful and mischievous demeanour is a source of respite as well as annoyance to many.
Activate the cosmic chorus & teleport yourself into Warpy’s world with these cosmic chimes.

When we traveled to Kutch in January 2020, we only experienced a small slice of all of the awesomeness that Kutch has to offer.Over these years we have developed a special bond with some of these craftspeople who are carrying the torch of their cultures and unique crafts against all odds. We are really excited to share some of their creations with you.
